I completed my Yoga teacher training with Sacred Rivers Yoga (East Hartford, CT) in 2010 with a focus on therapeutic practice. It is my firm belief that all can benefit from an appropriate daily yoga practice. Many yoga poses and movements can be modified to meet individual needs, and everyone can benefit from deep breathing and meditative practice. I also lead specialized classes for Equestrians, Kids Yoga, Prenatal yoga, Yoga for Back Care and Chair Yoga.
Over the years, my style has evolved and grown to include the influences of many styles of practice, especially viniyoga, Iyengar yoga and vinyasa flow. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to teach in many locations and settings. From Healthtrax and other local gyms, to Granby Yoga, parks and recreation and Lost Acres vineyard.
For almost 20 years, I have called Suffield, CT my hometown and I have raised my two beautiful children here. I am very rooted in my community through my work in the local school system and my love for local farms and businesses. I am a lover of the outdoors and nature, and I bring that love to my outdoor classes with a reverence towards the natural beauty of our surroundings.
